Tigmi Mzine is located close to the main souk in Essaouira with its fresh fish market stocked fruitfully with the morning�s Atlantic catch, and the vibrant vegetable and chicken souk. Essaouira beach is a 5 minute walk, with its promenade cafes, flying kite surfers and romantic couples enjoying long picturesque beach walks.
The terrace at Tigmi Mzine is a good size with permanent beautiful covered U shaped seating area with large table and soft white draped curtains to enclose it, perect for an evening of friendship, family or a panoramic terrace aperitif.
Rooms at Tigmi Mzine are well presented in a cosy homely and fresh style, with the two 1st floor rooms sharing a beautiful Moroccan styled bathrooms.

"This house is equipped with everything you'll need. It is beautifully designed to provide a bright and airy living space. The small local 'shops' provide everything you'll need for breakfast on the sun terrace - don't forget the oranges for your fresh juice each morning! Allison was so helpful, advising us on everything from great places to eat to the best way of getting to the Sunday market at Had Dra (excuse my spelling!), and confirming that the trip to the "shack" on the beach at Sidi Kaouki is definitely worth the seafood that's served up there.
Best recommendation is that we'll definitely be back as long as it's available!"

"Tigmi mzine is a modern house with a thoroughly Moroccan feel.
Our ensuite bedroom was on the ground floor while the kids were on the first. This worked out really well - having our own, if small, floors! Also loved having a real fire most evenings, with drift wood collected from the beach. Great fun!
Afternoons were spent relaxing on the 'sun-trap' terrace - what bliss!
Continual hot water; good beds with lovely feather duvets and crisp white cotton sheets.
Loved all the shops, restaurants and fresh fish on sale. Oh, yes and the horse riding on the beach - wow! The kids preferred the camel riding and quad biking over the dunes.
Cool house, great town and amazing weather! Couldn't have asked for more!"

Tigmi Mzine is available exclusively as a whole Riad rental with 2 double bedrooms and a twin room.
-Ground Floor
The ground floor double is a spacious master bedroom with large double bed and has been crafted out of the traditional Moroccan building material of tadelakt.
The bathroom has a tadelakt shower and traditional Moroccan style wash basin.
-1st Floor
The 1st floor double room is simply furnished with double bed, but in a fresh white style with interior facing window as is tradition in Moroccan Riad homes.
The 1st floor twin room at Tigmi Mzine is a good sized room with two twin beds sitting either side of an exterior facing window onto the narrow street below. This room is simple furnished but very fresh: perfect for 2 children on your family stay in Essaouira or two adult friends.
The two 1st floor rooms at Tigmi Mzine share a Moroccan styled bathroom. The bathroom has been decorated with a traditional warm orange tadelakt with beautifully crafted shower, Moroccan style washbasin with bright local tiling, and an exterior window onto the small derb down below.
