"I spent two days with my wife at this riad. The riad is in a good location, very individual and lovingly decorated. The rooms are nice, also the breakfast. The riad is like an "oasis" in the middel of an agitated medina. Patricia and her staff are very polite and helpful, you receive a lot of information about nice places in Essaouira. To take dinner in the riad is wonderful. We got there the best tajine in Marocco. The cook is excellent. This riad and Essaouira are destinations whiche I would like to visit once again."

"We chose to eat in the Riad three times during our our stay, the food was amazing on each occasion, traditional Moroccan fare lovingly prepared and served by Yusief whom we believe learned the recipes from his mother. He is a wonderful cook and a charming person he accompanied my wife on a spice and herb shopping expedition .
Many thanks Jean- Jacques for the great sandwiches you prepared for us for our taxi trip to Agadir Airport delisious!
Patricia thank you for your calm thoughtful hospitality you made our stay in Essaouira a memorable one."

"Suberb location within the Medina - makes this an ideal place to explore this beautiful town. The rooms were immaculately clean, comfortable beds and taseful decor makes this a perfect place to relax and rest. The excellent staff - in particular Fatima with her welcoming tea, maps and suggestions of places to go, Yousef's help with our luggage helped make our stay truly enjoyable. We stayed on the second floor and enjoyed great views from the pretty roof terrace.
Fatima's advice about shopping and restaurants was spot on - we had one of the best meals of our entire Morroco stay, at the Rameses restaurant not far from this Riad !
Wish we had stayed longer!"
