"For a genuine luxury Moroccan experience"
Tangier: Dar Nilam, or “House of the Blue Diamond”, has been crafted as a half way between a traditional Moroccan Riad and a boutique hotel. The main lounge/ dining area combines traditional Moroccan seating around the periphery with an exquisite hand painted and sculpted wooden ceiling.
Rachid and Faty, young managers of the house, provide a very professional and personal service with passion to travel and culture, they are very pleased to assist you in the preparation of your journey in Morocco and to initiate you with subtleties of the Moroccan cultural heritage.
The grounds of Dar Nilam have been well kept offering a range of fresh fruit trees, sitting alongside the large private pool, with enclosed sides for a little protection from the sea. The grassy garden houses sun loungers, perfect for a relaxing stay in Morocco
Run by a very friendly Moroccan couple, Dar Nilam offers guests a taste of genuine Moroccan luxury hospitality. Located a short walk from the beach of Tangiers, 1.5 miles from the Medina at the other end of the bay, Dar Nilam provides a tranquil relaxing stay in Tangiers but within easy reach of all that Tangiers has to offer.

"We stayed two nights at Dar Nilam, Tangier, and loved it. The Guest-house is located in a green and peaceful place, a couple of kilometres away from the medina. It has a lovely garden and the interior of the house is beautifully decorated, a haven of calm and comfort. The hosts were very helpful, hospitable and friendly. Our room was large and lavishly furnished, with four poster bed, carpets and cushions and petals scattered around. An excellent first two days in Morocco."

"I stayed there this week with my husband and two boys. We stayed in the family room which was a big room with a four poster and two singles. The downstairs is beautifully decorated and the garden and pool were nice enough to spend an afternoon relaxing in. They even brought us fresh melon to our Loungers, very nice touch! The location is about 5 mins in a taxi from the medina but you can walk to restaurants in the evening along the coast road, beach is not very nice, but hotel a pleasure, great brekkie too!"

"This was our first trip to Tangiers. The husband and wife who run this establishment speak English and are very accomodating. Neither the TV nor the internet worked at first, but eventually both got fixed. The dinner they served us was delicious. My wife is a pescaterian, and the fish was wonderful; we were served in a private area on the first floor. Our room was stunning -- like a movie set version of a Moroccan castle, but authentic. And the mint tea was delicious. Breakfast in the morning (included in the rate) was mainly local pastries."
