"The guestrooms, the living room as well as the whole place were superb. Built with love, perfection and a ecological approach (only natural materials, solar power only, water recycled etc.) it combines modern and traditional style in a very unique way. Within the very private atmosphere, Tania and Ali (as well as the other employees and all other guests) were very kind, gave us good hints for trips etc. and coocked delicious meals in the evenings."

The house has very calm and the same time modern atmosphere; Tania could tastefully mix the Alpine and Moroccan design elements. All rooms are nice, clean and very spacious, with comfortable beds and very fine linen. The house is eco-friendly, it is powered by solar panels, and the garden is watered using recycled water. The service was excellent; Tania and Ali are great hosts. They are very kind, informative and helpful. We tried Ali`s restaurant (Chez Ali) at the beach and we had couscous for dinner at the hotel, both were great. The breakfast was hearty and varied, with home-made jams and local goat cheese. Overall we warmly recommend the place, we have felt ourselves like at home."

Le Douar is located 10 minutes walk from this secluded village on the picturesque coast 15 minutes taxt from the centre of Essaouira, this quiet bohemian surfing village is populated with very welcoming traditional Berber people, along with their sheep, donkeys and camels. The Pink suite at Riad Le Douar des Arganiers is a spacious double or twin room with a sensual romantic atmosphere brought about by the dark tadelakt bathroom walls and tasteful bright rose pink decor. The pink suite has a large seating are with 2 sofas, fireplace and large french doors opening onto a private patio, seating area and communal garden.
The bathroom is spacious and comes with a shower. Toileteries and bed linen are subtly organic and well presented giving a wonderful ecological feel to this suite and the whole property.

The Orange Suite is decorated as its name sake suggests in beautiful rich Moroccan orange with a private patio and seating area accessed through large bright french doors facing the double bed. The bedding and mattress is all natural and of a highly superior standard in keeping with the ecological character of Le Douar des Arganiers. The room has been crafted out of local cream stone and wood giving it a bright, fresh and organic feel.
The spacious seating are has a fireplace and 2 large sofas that can accommodate two extra people (at an extra cost) or an infants cot (no charge).

The superior grey suite at Riad Le Douar des Arganiers is decorated in mysterious dark tadelakt with simple furnishings but beautifully positioned and copious amount of good space. The suite, located on the 2nd floor, has a wooden sofa and cosy fireplace accompanying the natural and high quality mattress and linen.
